OpenGL Diary

This page is not a real diary, more like a log of my activities programming with OpenGL. It is also not written as a tutorial, since there are already a lot of good ones available.

I just wanted to give others the possibility to see how I learned to use OpenGL. Most tutorials only provide you with one way of doing a certain thing and you have to find a tutorial which best suits your needs. By explaining the different methods I tried for various things and why I choose a certain one, I hope to help others achieve their 3D-programming goals.

I have structured my diary into a number of "days". This is just one way of calling the sections, I could have called them "steps" or "lessons". The things explained in each "day" don't always correspond to a real day of programming.
